What about my post indicated that I was offended? I just pointed out the flaws in your personality and thinking. You claim to have empathy yet openly make fun of people that are suffering of conditions they have no control over.

Not if they had a sense of humor. Many things about special needs kids are outside the realm of being normal. The only people we didn't make fun of when I was growing up is someone we didn't necessarily like. I get that it is poor taste, but it is just a joke and if this isn't the place where you can let your hair down and frick with people, then where?
