Louisiana State was an open university in the recent past, meaning all you needed to do to be admitted was have a Louisiana High School diploma

IIRC that was like 40 years ago.

So your reputation for being a lying dumbass is safe.

As a former Louisiana resident I never understood the Jambalaya hype.

I don’t think it’s anyone’s premier dish, but it’s easy to make, serve and eat, so it’s a popular tailgating food.

I'm only in my 30s and a Louisiana hs graduate, but I'm fairly certain even 35+ years ago you still needed to meet a GPA requirement or some type of standard in addition to a hs diploma.

I chose a good starting place for you. 1973-1974 required freshman applicants to take the ACT.

I matriculated in the 90s and there were academic reqs then, but I heard about it being open in the 80s, thats my frame of reference.

Very true, and you look like you've been on a coke bender after one bite. The rest of the food is pretty dang good though, can't complain about that.

The 1965-1967 catalog was the last one that only required a hs diploma from an accredited hs.

I don't believe almost 60 years ago is recent.
