I'll be shocked if the new AD makes a move on Pope this summer, but reality is he should. This shite is unacceptable.

Pope will get one more year.
The next month will tell us all we need to know. Who should stay besides Mareno, Mo, and Chandler, and he will need to get 5 studs in the portal. That won't happen, but its what he needs.

CM Newton was getting deferred compensation and Mitch cancelled that. It was about $75k a year and was to make up for a relatively low salary while he was AD.
CM was head basketball coach at Vandy and took a huge pay cut to come help his Alma mater out of a deep hole. He somehow convinced Rick Pitino to come here.
But what was good for thee is not good for me.
I think they should dock his pay until Stoops buyout is paid off.
