Pretty sure that’s called confidence coming into a game against a bad defense. When you’re playing KY, Oklahoma, etc., you’re mentally prepared to shoot a ton of wide open shots without much resistance.
When you’re playing AU, UT, etc., you’re mentally prepared for SEC refs to allow a football game on the hard court and hoping to not get injured.

Holy shite we suck! Portal Loser has to go, he has destroyed our basketball program. 4 years and no system. Players who don’t compliment each other. Just awful basketball.

Someone made a comment in one of the Wednesday night games how much they’re allowing the defense to get handsy and put a lot of body on the ball handler. Have been thinking the same thing all season.
Think it was DJ in the Ark game who made a drive down the lane and the defender almost stood him up/stopped him and no call.
Watching the St John v UConn game last night, they were calling it so tight it looked like a completely different game. It’ll be interesting to see how it’s called in the tournament, hope it doesn’t work against the SEC.

Man, UT sacrificed a baker's dozen opossums and now they're shooting 70% from three. There isn't a team in the country that can beat them if that holds.
