Refs no-called it evenly.
It was evenly garbage, but both ways. There was zero consistency on foul calls. Muggings would go uncalled, phantom calls, handchecks got called when they felt like it.
This was a damn near impossible game to call anywhere near perfectly, but there was no consistency to anything they did from start to finish.

From that game to X Games is a pretty dope transition.

Damn. Hurts to lose a game like that.

In Auburn? I'd not be unhappy once you've had time to process it.

Zeigler was the reason it was close. He made everything a bitch on both ends of the court. Haad was in hell the first half

There’s no such thing as a good loss.

Correct. That wasn't basketball. It was a legit street fight.

No but there is such a thing as an understandable one where you outperformed the expectation.
Could be worse.

LSU managed to catch the SEC’s scoring leader on the coldest night of his career and still found a way to lose.
LSU is almost surely the least talented team in the SEC, and shot 3 for 23 from three. How it was as close as it was is hard to figure.

Apparently that’s how the SEC wants their refs to call it.

Tell me you have never played sports without telling me you have never played sports.

Nah. There is clearly no direction on how the SEC wants refs to call games. That's why you can have this UT/AU game or a game that is 3+ hours long with 70 free throw attempts. The same damn crew can give you either of those on any given night.

First, yes I have played sports, jackass lol.
Second, I'd much rather lose a tight one against an obstinately better opponent than suffer the helpless feeling of losing a massive lead where nothing you're doing can stop it.

The problem is officials are not held accountable. They can go out and be inept without worrying about losing their job.

Look. Way I see it, I’d much rather lose when you had an actual shot to win.
I mean what would the narrative be had ZZ’s three at the end there fell.
