Gaekcle can’t throw a strike

Watching him fall off to the left and miss everything to that side so bad is infuriating. Especially as it hasn't been fixed all year by Hobbs. Got out of it at least.

Blame Sankey for disallowing Texas to play any game of significance on the road

The team is plenty capable of making Omaha if they get hot at the right time

I’ve been saying for a while that we have a good team, but I think our ceiling is likely SR or 2 & Q, Someone is gonna catch one of our pitchers on a bad night or two..
But if we get Max, Mendoza & Jonah back in the lineup and all playing the field, we’ll have a better chance to go further than that.. our bats struggle bigly against above average to elite pitching..
Lots of swing and misses with their heads pulled out and just guessing at the pitch.. some are better than others, but we mostly just figure out how to score just enough.. and that approach works until it doesn’t..

Welcome to our world. LSUs lineup used to be very disciplined at the plate and made good contact/swings. But the past 3 or 4 weeks they’ve all reverted back to swinging for the 450 ft HRs causing a nauseating amount of pop ups/easy outs and swinging at balls at their eye balls or balls that are 3 ft outside.

LSU in a nutshell
I'd like to think it has to give at some point but we're almost pushing a month of bullshite hitting
We better figure out a way to win tonight because we will not out slug Tennessee tomorrow

I mean if they get to play every postseason game at home (and they very likely will), then they will make Omaha.
I was just commenting that the Texas vibe is boring; that whole park needs an upgrade and an infusion of energy. Blue Bell would have been apocalyptic with this series this year but instead we get ho hum baseball.

Jimenez is such a dog.

dukeg7213 says,
Historically and statistically, Texas has about a 50% chance of being in the College World Series. CWS first year was 1948, 77 CWS events. Texas has been there 38 times. Not a bad 50/50 bet that Texas will be there.

So you want a teen party instead of a gathering of lifelong baseball fans

Aloy gunned him down at the plate! Still 7-0 hogs

Aloy has to be the best SS in the country.

Not sure about that review at home, but we were beyond due some good juju in that area.
Wow, based on that last angle it looks like they got it right. Sliding feet first into home bites the arse again.

I have a weird feeling about that as well. However, we’ve had so many teams inferior to this one get to Omaha.
I think it’s more likely we make Omaha, but disappoint there. Don’t really see us losing a regional or SR at home.

Almost a carbon copy of a call that went against us earlier in the year. Just couldn't get the foot down onto the plate.
