What a pitching duel tonight. OU messed up earlier trying to steal 3rd. Then popping a bunt to pitcher with runners on 1/2 and no outs for a triple play. But I’m happy for the pitching, will win us some games this year. TN is a top 10 ranked team, so this game is encouraging.

Skip has made some bad coaching decisions tonight. Now he left our pitcher in too long with a deep bullpen. 2 walks and 1 out B9. Shoulda brought in a closer to start 9th or at least after first walk.

Baseball comes down to how your pitching is during playoffs. Yes, you have to score but need healthy arms late in season.
Skip is a pitchers coach. He is very good managing arms during season. We added a lot of transfer arms off season and it showed tonight.
No idea how far they can go but I’m impressed early with pitching. We still have players from that last title run and playoff experience helps.
Its a long season but this was a quality win.
