That’s the only way but what did he interfere with? Not step away from the plate fast enough after the pitch?

I think conference championships are great achievements. It is an accolade that most people use when measuring the success of a program.

That would have to be the only explanation to get an out on that play.

I'd argue trips to Omaha are even moreso.

Not saying it's not an achievement, but I don't think anyone would argue with trading a conference title to be in the final 8.

I can see your point, but if you are playing for a conference championship, you might as well try to win it.

The conference title is going to come down to the last series of the year. Unless we lose the Georgia and Tennessee series.

No doubt. My only point was even if we lose every game the rest of the regular season, as long as we end up in Omaha I'd lose zero sleep over it. It's just a cherry on top of the dessert.

That's not just a baseball thing either. I'm the same way with basketball. Couldn't care less about conference standings as long as we get a good seed and perform well in March.

I’d like to personally congratulate Georgia on the win tonight.

I’d also like to tell the Hawgs don’t look now but someone has been quietly sneaking up and is now nipping at your heels for the west and possibly the conference championship.

I like this team but they are missing some pieces. We have good pitching depth but not as strong as we would hope like some SEC teams.

I believe that being ranked number one is giving this team injustice. I feel they are overrated but not in a bad way.

I think the overall talent for Arkansas is closer to number 10 than number one.
