Important to remember that Ryan Webb (tomorrow’s starter) was supposed to be our all American closer this year. Had to move him into a starting role when both Garret Brown and Will Childers (two of our presumed starters who were being groomed to take over for Wilcox and Hancock) went down in the Fall with Tommy John surgeries.
Harris was supposed to be a two way player for us and Woods was supposed to be our midweek starter

I'd happily let MSU have the conference title if it meant we're guaranteed Omaha. 
I just can't make myself care about regular season awards in sports that end in a tournament.
Anyone that claims they wouldn't trade a conference title for a guaranteed spot in Omaha is straight up lying.

I want to win the west, the conference, Sec tourney, our regional, our super regional and then Omaha, but I’m not greedy

It's the truth. As long as we're guaranteed to host a regional and super regional, I literally don't care. There's no other advantage the gain after that. The tournament is the only thing that matters.

Well there is something special about winning the SEC Championship but I do agree with you that Omaha is the goal.
For the players winning the Conference is something that creates a great memory down the road in addition to being a great accomplishment.

I would like for once win the conference and it hasn't happened since 2004. But this team like many teams in the past have struggled to close it out late in the regular season.
I'm happy being number one but I expect Arkansas to slip as usual.

I’m really pissed off that I’ve only been to one series this year. This is not the norm. Could be because I quit drinking but not sure.
