100% agree. If that’s the second game of the cws, costuei starts the 9th with kops warming up in the bullpen.
The most disappointing coaching of the day is how bad Wiggins looked. Velocity is down 5-7 mph and still doesn’t have good control.

Back to back solo HRs. Now a single. 1 on, no outs. 8-2 Mizzou
Let’s Go! Wake up Dawgs

Alabama just hit a dinger that seriously might not have gotten 20’ off the ground. Exit velocity had to have been over 110mph

If we come back to win today we still got a chance at it. Need Arkansas to lose tomorrow for sure

Damn baw from Bama launched that one out with quickness. 2-1 LSU.

We haven't won it since 2004. I just for once want a DVH team to finish strong at the end of the regular season. We just struggle to finish seasons under DVH for some reason. It is like the pressure gets to them and they melt. We should have won this game but we dropped it when we shouldn't have.
The post season is more important but damn we need something to show for this year just in case we don't make it to Omaha. If that happens then all that work was for nothing.

At this point in the season, entering game #49 if you don’t know, then go to the stats page on arkansasrazorbacks.com.
You have money on the game?
Our negativity is a coping mechanism. Years of hope followed by crushing disappointment in the craziest of ways has damaged some of us for life. Hell, I think it's altered our DNA and being passed on genetically.

No. It’s just damn annoying that the same fools jump off a cliff and question everything after one loss. Good lord.

Your bullpen has shut out arguably the leagues best offense for 12 out of 13 innings. The bullpen criticisms OTB seem misplaced

Every time Forsyth comes to bat I groan.

That is how Boston fans were in 2000. 20 years later you would think their teams were ordained by God to win every year to listen to their fans.

BigGator I almost wish you hadn’t done a thread today lol. I just got home. It was 8-0 as I unpacked. I’ll read back and see what happened.

This. Would be demoralizing to players returning to have such a great season and come away with nothing. Win the SEC and rest during to conference tourney. Have to develop a atmosphere of winning and although a conference title pales in comparison to a CWS trip and or/NC. It still takes some luck to get there. I
Wanna test Wiggins? That's what tomorrow could've been for after we locked this one down. Who knows? Might've ended the same either way. shite luck with the ground rule double costing us a run and the bloop single. But that's what we expect and it seems to always end with a heartbreaking loss in a big game. Then we always seem to go into a funk afterwards. This team seems much more resilient and are grinders. I may avoid watching tomorrow because I'm now convinced I'm a jinx.

We have a history of chocking in pressure moments. We have many years of experience. Games like this are a good example of that. That is the life of a razorback fan, you get to the top for a brief moment then you slip on a small rock and it is a painful roll all the way down.
I always expect it to crumble because it is what we do. We lose the series tomorrow including the SEC and life goes on. It is hard to be positive when you know you can't win the big moments.

Or it may light a fire under them and they could start playing their best baseball at the right time of the year.

So we take out Cade Smith who was pitching well and put in a guy who already threw this weekend. And Mizzou hits a HR and draws a walk.

Blame Frank Broyles. It's all his fault. It all started in 1969. I wasn't even born yet, but I've had to watch that game about a thousand times over the years. It's like my dad and grandpa thought that somehow the result would change and in some parallel universe we'd be where Alabama is now.
We need to find the sports psychologist that Tom Brady went to while at Michigan. State wide therapy.
