Speaking of offense. Ag offense looks solid. You guys have a real shot to make some noise, especially considering how wide-open the conference appears to be this season.
Good chance to get some revenge on us in Austin this year for sure

You can’t be a Longhorn fan and not know that six of the teams you beat last year had their starting quarterback knocked out the week or so beforehand

Maybe. My concerns are:
1. Reed accuracy. He's improved but long ways to go.
2. Situational play. Too many 3rd and longs getting converted. Often, through poor tackling.
3. Stupid penalties. 13 at ND vs their 5. Several killed drives.
If these things can get cleaned up a bit (not perfect just better) we can make some noise.

I think it was two years ago they missed numerous starting QBs. But they did miss 5 interception Lagway last year.

Jokes aside there does seem to really be something wrong with you. I don’t even know who you’re arguing with at this point. I’ve been nothing but critical of Sark and I haven’t defended him. Are you stuck in a conversation from last week and are really confused? It’s puzzling but at this point I can’t engage you anymore because it would be elder abuse.

You wanna link that quote?

What we don’t know about yet is consistency. How many points can you rely on him to get? So far the standard deviation between offensive output is very low. Between 40 and 44 points every game so far. Including a team that has a decent defense. Two or three more games with 40 plus points and I will get excited. Not until then.

Ewers would have them on cruise control with that defense. It would just be about what seed they would be in the playoffs.

You have been fair and objective in this thread. I’m not sure why Sarge is acting like DANIEL today.

The problem is you really can't do anything when you brought in the Manning and propped him up as the savior.
Can't bench him without blowback, just gotta pray for a miracle.

He had me fooled. Oh well. Guess I’ll enjoy watching other SEC teams play this year because it hasn’t been enjoyable watching TX so far.

Sark created this mess. I have a feeling the post game press conferences are going to get progressively more hostile

I will say that one benefit from Arch was other high motor players buying in and committing to Texas. I just can't understand the level of play from Arch two years into the program. Seems to be a good kid and hard worker.
It's like Sark told him "you go do that QB shite and have fun out there."

When he was recruited and I'd watched his highlights I said whoever got him was going to be cursed.
Still a chance he shines a turd into a diamond but it's not looking great. At least he'll rack up some video game numbers this weekend.

Another coach? Perhaps. Sark? No way. This is who he is.
