Admit it! No one saw this coming. Not even Fayetteville. Current record 2-2. Arkansas had lost 19 SEC games in a row.

I don’t disagree. Awarding the pirate turned out to be premature. It’s not too late for Gus to make a run at it.

Still too early. He’s done an amazing job so far, but we could still go 0-fer the rest of the way

While he deserves it at this point, I think I would still wait to see how the season plays out. A&M is still in it, and if they won the SEC and made the playoffs, a strong argument could be made that Fisher deserves it.

That is the more likely scenario! I do still give credit for winning 2 SEC games and beating out those two bottom feeders!

Loved the article

As far as him being coach of the year, he’s on track but there’s a lot of season left- hopefully anyway.

What was that? I gave the HC credit! Yes Arkansas did beat those two bottom feeders in the west division! What did I do wrong? Did I missed anything else?

Not sure who else should be considered at this point. He should be hands on favorite.

Sam is coaching a team that lost 20 SEC games in a row and has won 2/3* so far.

Not even our fanbase thought he could win more than one.

I wouldn't trade him for anyone right now.

Enjoy your high school pixie.

Nope. Nick Saban as he should every year he coaches.

Except last year.

I just dont get why A&M fans are so confident this Saturday. Didn't they see that incredible almost win against the worst barn team in years?

Too early. Team looks a lot better, but a lot of work to do yet, especially offensively. Passing is okay but running game has not materialized. Not good to be pretty one dimensional.
Depth is going to rear it's head at some point as well.
But at this point in time, CSP is doing Coach of the Year work.
