It's funny because your state sucks and can't support a pro team.

people that get worked up over that pic need to step away from the keyboard.

as an AU fan, and also a Saints fan - i could give a rats arse if he wears Bama stuff - it is his life, and so long as he gets shite sorted out in NO to get us good again - that's all i really care about.

Yea, I'm more offended by our defense, than whatever Payton decides to wear.

Meh. Birmingham as recently as a couple of months ago was one of about a dozen metro areas in the country without a pro sports franchise that could support either an NFL, NBA, or NHL franchise. The only one out of reach (according to buying power of the metro area was MLB. That ship has sailed but technically metro Birmingham could support one of those three leagues according to several studies I've seen.

Asking honestly, what would be a good league for Birmingham, if MLB is out. NHL, doesn't do well in the South, and I would think, there are too many long standing allegiances for NFL. The Pelicans are almost an afterthought here.
I honestly would of thought MLB, would be the best option. Only nearby team is Atlanta.

The offseason is as good a time as any to come out of the closet, I suppose.
