They should’ve done it when he turned 80 and I’m surprised they didn’t. While he did bet, he didn’t do it as a player.

Lifetime ban was stupid.

But betting on baseball when you’re managing the Reds is stupid as well.

The guy did the unforgivable sin, which is to call into question the integrity of the sport. It’s all bit rich now that DraftKings, et al. are the primary sponsors for all sports, but it’s obvious why Rose got a lifetime ban and he totally deserved it.

He knew how much the fans loved him. There are streets named after him in both Cincinnati and across the river in Northern Kentucky.

I remember checking on his hitting streak every day. Should have been in the HOF years ago. It's for the best players, not the best Sunday School students.

Clear evidence of NBA being rigged is Cleveland winning 1 year with LeBron. Green suspended LeBron hanging on the rim and no goal tending called.

I went to an autograph show with my then 7 year old son and went straight to the table. (Nobody else was there) We had bought a bat for him to sign, and he took time to talk to my son since nobody else was there. He was a very likeable guy and super nice to my son.
