Good job bro, we'll have a catch later.

Saban's taking pressure off his team, getting ready to make the BCS quit.

Saban can handle the pressure... but the guy that's gotta follow his legacy?... talk about a tough spot. No matter how successful you are, you'll never live up to the program's expectations (more than likely).

Meh, run the ball nick.

Nick is gonna have to deal with those expectations. It's not our fault he refused to win the game last week because he was trying to get AJ a statistic.

Thoughts from BAMA fans??

I'm going to tell you a secret. Saban can display assholish tendencies from time to time. Keep that on the down low.

Incidentally, he can blame me for every loss Bama ever has because I tend to take credit for every win.

This is true. Say what you will but there aren't many Les Miles out there. Going to be even more difficult at Alabama where expectations are even higher than LSU's and Saban has brought Bama beyond where he brought LSU.

My thoughts are that our little sister LSU has been praying for him to be gone for years. They will be disappointed again.

It's probably not his place, but the fans are ridiculous.

I eat with one of the starters every week (I coached him) and he said he had one student tell him that he stopped going to the games because we were winning by too much. The kid told him they need to suck more and make it interesting.

For one comment like that, there are probably 10 more as bad or worse.

Bammers are notorious for building up their team.

I think this team defensively is worse than the 2010 team we just didn't have to play @USCe or the Cam Newton Tigers.

We got lucky with scheduling and injured QBs and that helped to build up how good we really are.

This is an excellent post. That is like saying I don't want to win the lottery because I'll have to pay taxes.

no doubt - but he started looking more rough last year and his comments are more commonly negative than positive now

this is the same kinda stuff we saw at LSU with him - he is just the kind of guy who loves building a program to elite status but his high pressure high stress personality seems less fit to handle maintaining a program at that level. as Holtz commented sometimes you can build a program to teh point where a win generates little joy and a loss is catastrophic.

he can obviously choose to handle the pressure and I sure wished he had done so at LSU instead of going to the Dolphins instead... because at LSU he could have retired as our greatest coach of all time. At Bama that will never be possible to prove beyond reasonable debate.

Saban is starting to sound a lot like he did before he bailed out on LSU on Christmas day, I might add.

I attended his final LSU radio show at the Citrus Bowl and that arrogant bastard sat there expecting LSU fans not to be upset or disappointed at him leaving the way he did. It was sickening.

Saban is going to Dallas.
