Truth is with out a calamity of injuries we beat LSU by at least two TD's. Which means nothing. we had 'em and they beat us by five.
Are you a Tide fan or UGA fan? Jesus, pick one.

BTW, you still lose.

Bama just isn't what they used to be. If they were, they would be on a mission this year after that embarrassing beat down by Clemson. They have not looked good all year. Their schedule up until they played LSU, has been so soft and the talent gap between them and their opponents so wide that they were able to sleepwalk through it. Bama nation can make all kinds of excuses - from injuries to losing players that leave early for the draft, etc. etc. Injuries happen to every team. Losing players early to the draft has been happening at LSU for the last 10 years. Maybe Bama makes it back to the playoffs and maybe they get another pass and mulligan, but I'm not really worried about that as a fan. I actually think they're gonna struggle this week and I think there's a better than 50/50 chance they lose to either Miss St or Auburn. Hell, LSU getting in isn't even a given. The Tigers have a lot of work left to do.

Translation: We have a lot of players who are cashing the checks then not playing up to their salary level.

That’s all he does. He makes excuses and throw players under the bus.

Yes indeed... and when you beat them again you break their spirit. That’s Bamas way.

Well, in this situation that's usually getting on one's knees and begging for a do-over. It's the gump way...well, that and incest.

Bama does seem to have lost its edge somewhat. That’s Kirby recruiting well in Georgia, players from La would rather play for O than Les, Pruitt stealing a few that went to Tn and Clemson doing the same. The Coordinator turnover finally caught up to us this year and the transfer portal has been hell as well. We will get it going again hopefully with some continuity and be back NOT that we’re completely out. Just a down year as far as experience goes.
I do believe we win another before Saban calls it quits.

As punishment, Bama will take away the Chargers and issue Prii.

It doesn't feel like it did early in the dynasty. They just don't seem to have that hunger to physically dominate their opponent. Every time they face a team with comparable talent they've fallen into the habit of getting punched in the mouth, looking shellshocked, and then having to try and climb back into the game in the second half.

I don't know if Saban's lost his edge or if the psychology that worked on his players 10 years ago doesn't work now but they just look soft. Diggs trying to strip Helaire instead of tackling him and just getting manned up and dragged into the endzone kind of sums it up.

This is spot on. BAMA is soft on D. One can only speculate as to why. My speculative opinion is the continual loss of assistants and the replacement assistants just aren't good.
Also this is LSU'S year. They have a great team and they WANT IT.
Saban and BAMA are at a crossroads and it's going to go one way or the other.

Team win—team loss. That goes for the coaches too. That loss wasn’t due to any particular player. Saban needs to get with the program. I didn’t see lack of effort on the part of any player on the field.

How hard is it to teach a player to Hold and take cheap shots?

Only excuse I can think of is the turnover on the coaching staff?

At no point in that game did Bama have LSU.

You misread. He was saying they had the injuries, not that they had LSU.
