"We had 'em" refers to injuries. LSU was the better defense period. UA issues are due to two things: poor recruiting on the defensive front (no depth) and and bad luck (lost the heart and soul of our defense, LB'ers and tackles).

"bama factor"...I finally have a term for that lazy dumb trashiness that I try to avoid when I run into bandwagoning morons.

The Bama Factor? I like it. Look at Nick trying to roll like Coach O.

Well, in his on way.

He wasn’t throwing them under the bus at all. He was commenting on the youth of the team.

NO doubt you know bama's roster front back and side to side but when bama's defensive starters were listed during the game Saturday they had three TrFr listed. NT and two ILbs. Three of four on DL were SRs and youngest in secondary was soph, surtain. Rest of secondary were either Jrs or Srs.

Alabama cut payments. They’ll be driving the Ford Focus instead of a Dodge Charger.

If I remember correctly that was pretty early in the game. Right?

Nick Saban DESPERATELY trying to do damage control and salvage what’s left of the brand he’s built

It could be if it doesn't get fixed. It's a bit hard to tell right now because the defense is so young right now. If they don't turn it on for next season, then you could very well be right.

Technically there are 4 ways you can go at a crossroad.

Bama won't win the SEC again before Saban retires.

I'll say it again and you can downvote me all you like but it's the truth: 2nd and 26 was a bad thing for this program. It let Saban off the hook for getting clowned by the fricking Gus Bus in the IB and for getting his arse kicked up and down the field by Kirby before Saban got desperate and put in a QB UGA hadn't prepared for (and which history repeated itself in the SECCG last year). It put expectations on Tua that he cannot mentally or physically handle. It kept the fanbase from being honest with ourselves about what was happening. But maybe if he had retired after that game, we wouldn't be where we are now, quitting in a national championship game, feasting on cupcakes and losing important games at home to a guy most of the LSU fanbase hated two years ago (hell, a year ago) and his rent-a-QB.

Sick of the excuses and empty slogans. Saban was great, now he's beating up on a mostly down SEC and shitting the bed when it matters. I don't give a frick about the rest of the season, nor the meaningless bowl game Bama is going to lose. I don't give a frick about anything Saban has to say short of "I'm retiring to spend more time with my family".

Lil' Nicky never just gets beat, he always says something to take away from an opponent that beats his team.
That said, it seems to work. His teams have very few let downs.

It’s not worth explaining. These retards are still high off their team beating Alabama. No matter what you say, they’ll respond with their overused catchphrases, say you’re “melting”, etc

He’s lost an average of one game per season, and he’s not good enough for you?

Man, y’all spoiled. You deserve Shula.

It’s not that.
It’s that he says they don’t know the Bama Factor. That was a hard hitting, great game...on both sides. LSU deserves the win and Bama just fell short.
There were efforts from both sides...

Make up your mind! Is it Tua being hurt or is it your players are soft
