Only the most oblivious Bama fans thought Deboer (or really any other coach they hired) could have even come close to filling Saban's shoes. Season ain't over yet, and Deboer is a decent coach and y'all have plenty of talent. But he isn't Saban. Nobody is.

I was at a game in like '04 where we were up big vs a nobody in the 2nd half and the kicker kicked the ball out of bounds on the kickoff and Saban followed him down the sideline chewing him the whole way.

Meant to say we should have. We were 10-0 and prothro got hurt. Lost the two last games because we couldn’t score essentially. He never played football again. He was electric and led in most offensive and special team statistics

Sure I can. Jalen had a better passer rating in DeBoer's year one than JD5 had in Kelly's year one.
