ETA: I fricked up

But Auburn and LSU have out-recruited TAMU for the past few years and first year coaches at these kinds of schools always have recruiting momentum.

You’re right. Since Saban arrived, there’s hasn’t been much of a showdown. Mostly just anomalies and flukes that keep us out of Atlanta from time to time.

But if there were a program set up to stand toe to toe with Bama in the West on a yearly basis, the only team that can do it is TAMU.

All very true

Fisher will be lucky to last 4 years at aTm. His price tag is one of "win now", and his honeymoon period will be short (1 yr).

Aggies, pump the brakes and wait for him to win a decent game before talking this. Ya'll are t-sip lite now. All hat and no cattle.

PS. Instead of yell practice late at night, perhaps you could inform your fans about basic football.. the aggies I speak with here in Austin are barely aware that (a) you changed conferences and (b) who you play in conference regularly.

P.S. 35-14
P.P.S. We're going to need a Vandy fan to help calculate Jimbo's dollar per point given up ratio this season.

Talent wasn't their problem before. He's a mediocre coach at best.

LSU and Auburn are currently ranked higher in recruiting for this year, as it stands. Why are you talking out of your arse?

No, they’re not.

ETA: In fact, Auburn is currently ranked behind Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Yes, a coach that couldn't even get an ACC team to a bowl game in his last season.

But somehow managed to beat the mighty Auburn Tigers to win a National Championship.

I edited.

It's also July.

It's also his first year at a good program with a ton of hype behind him. Of course he has recruiting momentum. To act as if his 2019 recruiting class is what qualifies him for "being the only one to bring in talent to compete with Bama" is a bit absurd.

Average recruit is higher rated at Auburn, no less. Just a really dumb point he's trying to make.

Nope. He's just trolling. And I'm biting instead of being productive.
