I don't like admitting it but AU is our biggest challenge for the west. That may change with Jimbo but I doubt it because he couldn't win the ACC on a consistent basis and FSU got a lot of top notch recruits. AU has a losing record to us, like everyone in the SEC but they have won more than others. Yes some of those were fluke wins but they put themselves in position to get them fluky wins.

I honestly don't think Jimbo will consistently win in the SEC! He will have to get past AU, LSU and state consistently and I don't see that happening. He was also coach at FSU when he didn't have as much competition in state for recruits but at A&M, he will have herman and Patterson as well as LSU fighting for recruits.

Same here. Dabo is getting it done at Clemson without all the in-state talent that Jimbo had at FSU. Plus it just seems the Aggies can't ever get over the hump in football.

A&m has been known as a sleeping giant. But if a&m doesn't make a run with fisher then i would feel A&M has had false hope all along. UT may be down. But historically UT has been all the state has had to depend on. Hence they still have the biggest instate fan base to this day.
