Which meant it’s not just the draft. It’s two weeks of preparing for the draft. Then two weeks of getting questions answered and then two more weeks of getting ready for the draft.

Saban only spent six weeks preparing for the draft?

So let me get this straight, teams prefer players that have only good thing about them over players who have bad things said about them?

Good to know.

Granted it should be obvious stuff, but I think it’s Saban’s way of stressing to players (who aren’t necessarily the wisest people) that spend a ton of time working to give NFL guys reasons to draft them that it’s also important to make sure they don’t give those same guys reasons not to draft them.

This is the only part I somewhat disagree with. Job hiring is a two way road and my experience is they want you to be the right person. It ends their search and they fill a position of need. I think it is just as likely they are looking for reasons to draft/hire you.

I get what he's saying but just think about it differently.
