Fairly safe bro...it's the preseason...we can assume whatever we want until the pigskin is kicked off the tee

I would LOVE for TTs to have Bama board access

Late to the party, but you forgot one. OKST = 1 loss vs. teams under .500 Bama = 0 losses vs. teams under .500

And that outweighs all of the other facts?

No.

I’m pretty sure I have seen you on the Alabama board.

You know what outweighs all of them?

OKST BCS #3
Bama BCS #2

And unless you think OK State was 28 points better than LSU that year, then those rankings must be correct.

Not only did it outweigh it in the minds of the voters and in the BCS formula, it was like those other facts were a soap bubble which abruptly popped. They amounted to precisely dick-fist after that loss.

LC has a lot of potential and should do well at Bama. Wish he was a Tiger, but since he isn't, I will follow the DBs that play for LSU.

nice article today on him.

quote:

"I think sometimes guys get a little frustrated that they don’t learn fast enough, because they really want to be good, they put a lot of pressure on themselves to be good. And Landon’s that way, which are all good qualities," Saban said. "Now, he probably is comfortable and confident in what he’s supposed to do. And he has played really well, especially this fall camp.

"He’s definitely going to have a role in dime situations for us this year and is in competition at safety as well. I think he’s one of our best safeties as well."

Collins' back-up at "Money" and fellow second-team safety Nick Perry has had a front seat to watch the sophomore's development. "Big hitter" was one of the first phrases that came out of Perry's mouth when he described Collins.

"He's fast. He's strong. He's really what you want at safety," Perry said. "He's your prototypical safety, and I really can't wait to see what he can do on the field this year."

Senior Deion Belue said Collins knows "his playbook backward and forward."

You mean the voters that placed osu at 5-6 on their ballots in order to manipulate the final poll ?

Go ahead and try to say that was a legit ranking. I know you will

I'm not arguing in here

What the frick is the "Money" position? Is Bama just making up names for all of their positions to make them sound more glamorous to recruits? Started with the infamous Jack LB, and I've recently seen the "Star" position at LB am now the "Money" safety.

It's the one that lures talent out of La.

That's absurd.

Bama does it to make opposing fans upset.

Actually, it started when Saban and Belichick were with the Cleveland Browns I think. Don't know who actually came up with the terms. "Money" spawned from the more commonly used terms "Nickel" and "Dime" and "Star" is related to the "SAM" or Strong-side linebacker so it's just another "S" word.

I may be in the minority here, but I hope collins does well except when he plays LSU. The kid is a great talent and congrats to bama for getting him, but the tigers are going to be fricking loaded for the next 4 or 5 years with a couple of national championships mixed in there as well.
