Saban never had a class at UA where he didn’t get 3 or more of the top 10 in state players

Right now for the class of 2025, Alabama has no top 10 in-state players. Auburn has 8 of the top 10.

Just goes to show you how weak the '25 class is in the state of Alabama when Alabama has no Top 10 players committed from it yet has the second-ranked class in the nation.

It aint over yet. It's about show me the money now. I wouldn't rest easy until signing day. Bama just needs to decide who they are gonna throw a million at. It's long time until December. Information will be gathered, money will be paid, calls will be made and Bama will get what they want. This is just the early stages of the bidding wars. Commitments mean nothing right now.

The difference is Freeze. He’s one of the best recruiters in the country. He’s opened up the state for Auburn for the first time since the Chizik era. Auburn’s not going to land the majority of elite in-state targets every year but there will be years he does it. Last year landing Coleman, Riddick, and Thompson showed that things were seriously different.

That’s not even remotely true. Alabama signed one in-state player in 2018. One.

The difference is it’s august. It’s not close to over.

After three straight losing seasons you gotta hold out hope I reckon

If Thorne comes back for 2025 to up his CFL draft stock, I'd say 7 out of 8 will go elsewhere.

Deboer doesn’t have the in state relationships built yet so he has had to go outside of the state for his #2 ranked class.
Once he gets his relationships built Bama will get the premier in state guys when we want them because we are still the flagship school in the state.

Neither did he ever use local escort services as part of recruitment.

ALABAMA has a recruiting class that is being compared to 2017 in talent and could easily finish number 1. Meanwhile, the barners are wolfing about birth certificates.

The 2018 in-state recruiting class was extremely weak.
Per the 247 composite, there was only one top 100 player overall, Justyn Ross, and three top 150 players overall, Ross, Armour-Davis, and Coynis Miller.
The 2025 class is a lot more talented.

Or it could also be the fact that Alabama is focused primarily on recruiting out of state this cycle.
