Hard to concentrate on throwing down field when you have freight trains running right at you. So, I don't disagree that is was probably a lapse of concentration. It was more about survival.

Come on man,you cant be serious.dont you see why everyone hates y'all. If y'all don't win by 4 touchdowns y'all start saying people were playing dirty. You really think you will find sympathy? And as far as what saban said, all that's too deep of thinking in my opinion.. All it boils down to is, when Tua isn't in the game then jalen can keep the offense going enough. If tua and jalen are both out, then you will have a tough time scoring, so you better be up already, or score on defense. The defense will keep u ahead if ur up on the opponent already

After the first two drives, State whipped that arse up and down the field. The two fumbles never counted because of the officials. The PI that was pathetic. The numerous missed holding calls. The touchdown called back obviously was as terrible as a call as I've ever seen. That guy should never be allowed to officiate in the state of AL again. Or for the UA. Plus he should be suspended without pay for the rest of the year.

LOL - yea, just throw those 2 drives for 160 yards and 14 points out.

And still lost 10-0 (or 10-7 if you want to go that way).

Keep digging, that moral victory is down there somewhere.

He's right of course.
Early success on offense is generally a good thing against a team that is offensively challenged but against a very good defense, yea, I can see it leading to a decrease in intensity/focus.

That's really more like 6 scores when you consider having to make 3 2-point conversions

As long as Miss State is on the Bama schedule after the LSU then Bama will struggle with State. When the game is at State then it will only be more of a struggle.

Moral victory? I think not. I don’t think any State fans are happy with how this game played out. State played well on defense, but offense and special teams played poorly. A lot of it had to do Bama defense but a lot of it was State making mistakes. You can’t make mistakes and beat a team as good as Bama.

Well, technically 3 but not commenting on the 4 score margin. Commenting on Saban's lamenting that it wasn't the typical 7 score margin that Alabama has enjoyed most of the season.
