“We didn’t really do what we set out to do in the last game. I think there’s a lot of lessons to be learned in that. We got emotionally and physically challenged in the game, especially on offense. We scored early two times in a row. Sometimes when that happens, you think things are going to be easy, and then things got really hard. So, I don’t know if we responded in the game like I would like for us to, so those are the lessons that we’d like to learn.

“I think that that’s something that kind of woke our offense up a little bit. Things have gone really easily for us most of the year this year in terms of scoring points, getting ahead in games, and sometimes you get a little lax. You don’t pay attention to detail, you don’t play with the same discipline, you don’t finish things the right way, you take things for granted. And I think that our guys responded really well this week because we have practiced a little better, and hopefully, we’ll play a little better in this game because of it.”

No, Tua got smacked around when Alabama faced a really good defensive line. He hasn’t really been hit, and you don’t know the worth of a QB until he is.

You could tell he was rattled.

Meh, it was state. I think a lot of Bamas struggles with them are just not getting up for it. Let's be honest, Alabama is getting ready for the Georgia and auburn games whether the coaches admit it or not.

I think we were a bit hungover from LSU combined with the fact State has a really good defense.

We played like shite last year against them too.

Saban battles the human psyche in every game. I truly think that's his ultimate drive is to perfect his players' psychological approach to the game, figuring if that is done, the physical and strategy approach to the game will fall in line.

This sums up Alabama football. They’re so used to success that they make up excuses even when they win. Bama fans may not like it, but they did play well in all phases of the game. State only played well on defense. I’m sorry the bulldogs didn’t just roll over and let them score 50.

You think Bama played well after losing their starting right guard and Tua going out after Miss. St thugs targeted his knee?

You’re an idiot. No one targeted tua’s knee. Just like I said. I’m sorry your team wasn’t able to score a dump truck load of points. I’m sorry your all universe quarterback is battling a knee injury. Sometimes football players get hurt. Deal with it pussy.

Enjoy your White Croom!! Mullen nor Strickland are coming back. You’re left with a baseball coach as an AD. I can wait until we get to see the great hire he did for baseball..lol but we all know MSU is a women’s basketball school now, and some how y’all have managed to choke that away the last two years. Win something... in anything.. just one damn championship. Getting old the whole conference has to carry y’all. Stop snitching and just go ahead and join the flag ship college in your State. Sad

Look at all these excuses!!! Alabama O-line got destroyed by State D-line. After the first 2 drives, Stoop adjusted and was lights out for the rest of night. Stats don't lie. 200 yds and 30 pts less than season average. It's either State's defense is legit or Alabama offense isn't as good as they thought.
