LSU continues to excel because of what Saban did there

Riiiiiight.

You are seriously one dumb motherfricker. You're certainly entertaining if nothing else. LSU's football program was pure dogshit before Saban got there. You had...count 'em...8 losing seasons in the 11 prior to Saban's arrival.

Those coaches may have been in grade school, but you were obviously in fricking diapers.

Even most of your fellow LSU fans would think you're an idiot for not crediting Saban with putting you in the position where your program is today.

Nick Saban has broken the Loseranna State fanbase.

Keep crying though because you do it so very well.

He's a good coach. Definitely above average. But take away the REC, and that's all he is.

The REC was responsible for his success at LSU?

Damn, we bad.

If being a successful NFL coach was the be-all and end-all of football coaching, why was Smith dog shite in college AFTER going to a Super Bowl?

This has nothing to do with Saban being a shite NFL coach. You say you couldn’t care less then go on some rant about Lovie Smith. Don’t see why Saban being a bad NFL coach bothers Bama fans so much.

Rant?

I was just pointing our what a fricking moron you are. If that qualifies as a "rant", I'm guilty as charged, I guess.

I mean, seriously, don't get sand in your vagina when someone points out the fact that you have the football IQ of the head of cabbage in my fridge.

The dude is stupid good at this coaching thing.

He’s stupid good at his recruiting “schemes.”

Saban isn’t near the coach he once was but he has an unreal roster every year.

Can Bama fans just admit he was not a good pro coach? Its ok if you weren't good at the highest level you are still the best college coach of all time. What is the big deal?
Because it is a lie. Saban was a good NFL HC, at least for the short period of time he was one.

He took a 4-12 team and turned it around to a 9-7 record, getting NFL COY consideration. NE fans were sweating bullets. We know the QB/Brees issue. Saban trusted his medical staff, which he should have done, they made a mistake in a difficult situation.

So, he was left with Culpepper, Harrington and Lemon as his QBs for 2006. The D improved from #18 to #4 in the League, but the offense was not effective, thus a 6-10 record. The year after he left they went 1-15.

So, to sum up, Saban took a 4-12 team and went 15-17, with woeful QBs, because of injury and the Brees misfortune. The years before and after Saban Miami was 5-27. This is why the Miami fanbase and media were in an uproar when he left. They knew he was good. (In 2006 the defense gave Brady and NE their last shutout.)

The players that put together the GOAT season in college football in 2019
Till Saban and Bama took it away the very next year beating 11 SEC teams, no Ga Southern, NW State or Utah State, i.e., no creampuffs to pad the wins and stats. 13 P5 wins, the most ever - incredible season, the greatest team ever according to Bill Connolly and so many others. In fact, everyone except LSU fans.

He brought LSU back to relevance while there, and still reaping the rewards from it. So ungrateful

The two teams they added were Covid ridden Kentucky and Mizzou.

2019 Texas was better than either of those teams so at best, the schedule is a wash.

I see what your saying but the schedule definitely wasn’t a wash. LSUs schedule was way tougher. Had to go into Texas, Bama, Georgia, and grab wins. Bama was basically playing scrimmages every week.
