That decision was really Saban's defining moment as a coach and probably did more to define his legacy than anything else in his career. He wasn't afraid of making the hard decisions.

It's interesting bc in my mind I had this picture of Nick having a heart to heart with Jalen about the situation & nope it was just "we're playing Tua in the second half".

Should have been halfway through the season. Everybody on the team, on the sideline, and in the stands knew Tua was the better option.

That was both the right decision and extremely hard to watch. Always loved Hurts, just a great attitude. So happy he got that SB ring.

Jalen Hurts is my quite possibly my favorite player to ever play for Alabama.
He was almost in tears in that clip but just put his head down did not complain and went to work.
Everyone from all walks of life can learn something from Jalen Hurts.
