" Geno has not been a problem on the field in terms of his performance."

What was the question asked? Was a team vote involved?
Also, thanks for always keeping us up-to-date on all things BAMA.

This is not unprecedented in Alabama football history. David Palmer was suspended twice for DUIs in the run-up to the 1992 season. The media and his fellow coaches called for Gene Stallings to dismiss Palmer from the team but he did not.
Palmer went on to compete for a Heisman Trophy in 1993 and also had a fairly successful career with the Vikings in the NFL. Had Stallings dismissed him from the team, Palmer would more than likely be a heroin addict in the ghettos of Birmingham right now.

Saban is proud he hasn't gotten another one in the last week.

I miss the Saban that just stuck his middle finger up to the press and carried on with his business

Saban followed up with "by the way, that's only one more than Gary up at Mizzou."

Media, yes. Fellow coaches, no. It was a true statement back then that David Palmer needed the Alabama football team (more specifically, the structure and education it provided) more than Alabama football needed Palmer.

That's a bit much, bruh. You don't know that.

DUIs werent near as big a deal in 1992 as they are now. It wasn't uncommon for people to have 6 or 7 and not even have to spend the night in jail back then for one

I'm sure that was all he said about it.

Team Vote.
It's funny and catchy I get it. But no one actually believes hill being reinstated was due to a team vote do they lol?
Miles let him back on the team just like all coaches who let troubled players back on the team. He attempted to show good faith by making sure the players still believed in him (obviously they didn't care like most fans if asked honestly). It was a PR move that back fired in miles face of course
I wish matheiu and perilloux were left up to team votes
