It really is sickening to see the gumps trying to justify Saban ruining a kids career.

What’s sickening is many of their fans said the same thing immediately after the injury.

Then, after the talking points came out (press conferences, Tua’s family statement, etc) they have all filed in.

Reminds me of something...

Burrow should sit, could get hurt in any play. I don't wish for any players to get hurt ever, but LSU fans as a fanbase deserve for your whole team to get hurt. You are just garbage

What a classless post. Wishing for a bunch of kids you don’t even know to get hurt. Typical trailer trash gump who probably didn’t even get close to going to college anyways.

Tua getting hurt has nothing to do with LSU or its team. That decision was made by your head coach only.

Don’t bring us into this for simply criticizing your head coach.

You sound like a broken baby back bitch for this comment.

Did Delpit have surgery three weeks ago?

So playing him while he's injured is OK as long as he didn't have surgery?

Depends. How long after the surgery? Two to three weeks?

Tua was playing maybe his best game of the year against MSU. Every throw was on a dime. There was no reason to believe leaving him out for one more series was going to be a problem.

If Orgeron keeps Burrow in after they go up 3 scores
Bama was up 35-7.

Also, I agree that the ankle injury made it more likely for a scrambling QB to get run down from behind by a 300lb behemoth. That's not rocket science.

So you’re saying that the Saints have a good chance to get him?

Injuries are just part of the game. Easy with hindsight. Prayers for Tua. He will be fine and hope he has a great recovery. But if he never plays another down, his faith will carry him through.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it’s also fair to say he shouldn’t have been in up 28. From what I understand Bo’s injury was less severe than Tua’s and Bo was never the same. Hopefully medicine has advanced enough to where Tua can make a full recovery.

Tua has never been a running QB. He had plenty of time to get rid of the ball

The ankle injury is completely unrelated to his hip injury...

The hip injury came because he couldn't evade the rush. The ankle injury affected his mobility (APPARENTLY, based on his limp. Now, it could be that he was just faking the limp- but that also isn't a good look).

A concussion isn't related to an ankle either... but if you get drilled because you can't move well, it's not hard to see a connection.

Bottom line, your QB just had ankle surgery a month ago, and was limping around after the LSU game like a 1 legged man. Common sense suggests he wasn't all the way back. You didn't need him for State, he should have sat and rested that leg more, so he would be as good as possible for Auburn (the last true test for your team). If he had, we wouldn't be having this discussion. There's no escaping this conclusion.

Like I said, it's a disaster for Tua, Saban, and Alabama.

Did they say which injury cost him the most? Was it the hip injury or the Broken Nose. Asking for a friend
