What a joke. Saban was doing the NIL before the NIL was legal. He couldn't deal with a level playing field so he quit. Besides, the person he's running to for help has more problems on his hands than NIL.

I don’t think Biden can help anyone anymore. Not sure he can feed himself.

Is Saban wanting to come back and coach? Why does he care?

I bet Texas could hire him right now on a dime, but he wasn’t coming back when he had the fix in.

Why would Biden or Obama care about NIL?

Maybe he genuinely cares for the kids and their futures as he’s mentioned for numerous years. He primarily helps out with Nicks Kids and he’s a good person.

This is Tuberville using Saban’s concern to try to get something done. A political stunt? Sure but at this point something is better than sitting back and watching it all burn.

I’m pretty sure Biden doesn’t know what NIL is, he probably doesn’t even know what’s in his diaper.

Recruiting ranks disagree. Saban quit because players no longer cared about development since they were already being paid. He was still bringing in top ranked recruiting classes.

There is a difference between talented players and elite players. Saban took talented players and turned them into elite players. As the saying goes, you don't practice until you get it right, you practice until you can't get it wrong. And that's the difference.

You can still see the talent at Alabama now, flashes of greatness here and there. But at the same time they are no longer the elite players they were in years past. And that shows up in the consistency and being clutch.
