Sure, as long as we don't act like Bama didn't benefit from covid all year minus Saban out for the iron bowl, which is absolutely not a big deal. I'd have rather had coach O out any game last year then joe burrow.

So fair enough? Don't sit and ignore the fact they got 13 players and their rb out. That's ridiculous and obviously makes a huge difference. Huge.

Who do you think he was talking about?

When you read the quote, I think he is talking about this team being better than his other Alabama teams that won the title. Stop flattering yourselves.

Even Saban knows to respect and acknowledge the 2019 LSU Tigers, the best to ever do it

Are we going to compare 7-0 OSU to 14-0 Clemson now?

Is Bama claiming their 52-46 SECCG victory over UF is equal to LSU beating UGA 37-10?

Is Bama superior because they beat ND 31-14, rather than the 63-28 LSU victory over a conference champion OU?

Bama’s 83 playoff points this year is awesome, but so was LSU’s 105 last year.

We can go on if you’d like.

SEC was not as top heavy this year...fine season but we will never know how good this team really was due to COVID.

Can we count Bama's missing starters as well? Metchie, Dickerson, Waddle, Jobe and Smith out for the 2nd half.

Woops - Battle, not Jobe. I was lubricated last night.

Bama was missing an All American WR and Center + a freshman All-American Corner

And lost their fricking Heisman winner in the 3rd quarter
