Went with wife and kids…Nobody talked to us before the game, and we rushed out before the students left. No incidents.

We are in K through LSU this time, S and S1 are the main ones by the band
My 13 and 10 year old are going with my wife and I. We aren’t scared to represent. We went last year, It will be my 13 year olds 3rd time there. We just ignore the students, they’ll talk shite and curse at you, LSwho, corn dog, etc… don’t talk back… everyone else is harmless. Silence is golden, just keep walking confidently with a smirk on your face.
My kids have been going to away games since they were 2 and only problems we have had were from drunk lsu fans near us
Don’t walk through the Grove would be my only suggestion, that seems how to get beer thrown at you.

There are schools and churches north on the campus and near the square, it’s like 20-30 bucks. I’ve parked by Oxford intermediate school the last 2 times. Easy escape through the neighborhood to highway
Yet they still were SEC division champions during that time and played in Atl for champ game. Something Ole Piss knows nothing about

Randomly ate lunch with Scott van pelt at mothers, he was in line behind us and solo… he was new at his career on sportscenter, I recognized him and we got to talking, so he joined us at the table for lunch.
Then tailgated with that big Krewe on poydras, where you paid money for beers. Can’t think of their name now but they were big.
Then witnessed glory in the Dome! Have been to every NC game since then too

Lamest was Oklahoma, you would have never known they had playoff on the line. No energy from stadium, very quiet and they have an on field emcee to help get the crowd involved

I’ve been to all except Missouri.
I like Georgia. Auburn is fun and can get loud when they are good. Bama is only enjoyable if we win there, they get so butthurt. They turn off the scoreboards immediately so you can’t get pictures

My son is into it, I buy multiples when I see them in the wild or online. We rip some and then saving the rest as a sealed collection.
Maybe will be worth nothing, maybe he can use for college later or maybe we rip them in 10 years. Not a big deal for us money wise, cards are a fun hobby for us. Son just pulled the mega charizard SIR recently, was a priceless memory
