From the outside looking in, is anyone else just scratching their head over this?
Saban is such a my way or the highway drill sergeant type. Kiffin has been like a pigeon, shitting everywhere he's been while moving on to the next thing.
does this boggle anyone else's mind that Saban put Kiffin on his staff??!?!?

It has never been talked about.

In 2005, Kiffin was OC at USC with the best talent in the game. They set records. The idea is to allow him to do well in a similar situation. We will see if that happens.
But seriously, we are too close to the season for this bullshite.

No. They've known each other a long time. Saban has taught him self-discipline. Dynamic Duo.

I don't think he's my way or highway with Offense as much as people think. He let Jimbo do what he wanted to do at LSU.

Now I see so many Bama fans defending Kiffin. I never thought I'd see the day.

Grudge fook with the wife of the former UT coach. Trying to up the rivalry that has been stale of late.

Because we shouldn't see the potential of the OC? Are you a bigger moron than I thought?

Kiffin is fine when he has someone looking after him. Saban doesn't take any nonsense so I don't think there will be a problem.
I do think Kiffin is not as good a playcaller as he was 10 years ago, but that's for another thread.

I openly admit I hated him at Tennessee, but he is here now with all our support.

Kiffin has a proven record as an oc. What's your point?

Nope. All the success was due to other assistants. All the failure is squarely on him. And a bad head coach means he's a bad assistant despite previous notions. Don't you know this is the rant logic?

maybe but Kiffin as an OC at SC wasnt seen by the world as a douche just yet.

Saban's next project... If it works Kiffin may end up HCIW, if not, 2 years and kiffin will be searching for another job...

Did you just find out that Kiffin was at Bama?
