It’s an interesting debate. VOLS have beaten 3 #1s since their last court storm (which occurred in 2006 vs Noah/Horford/Brewer Gators), but since this was the first #1 opponent in BWA ever I think it’s acceptable.

Everybody knows aubie has played above their heads....this is aubie basketball....they aren't the best team in the country. Arkie should remember the Nolan days. Their history is much better than aubie. Gonzaga back at number one.

Why not? Most of these students haven't seen us at our best. Even though we have a proud history it's still really exciting for an 18-year-old to watch your team beat number one in your own stadium.

The point is that Arkansas easily could have been favored with auburn injuries and auburn being on the road.
