And I recall Max had a bad habit holding the ball too long.
Hopefully he'll improve with an offseason of work.
Really no less deep than we were last season.
Once Myles went down, it was Finley and Johnson, both true freshmen (Finley a 3 star) and that was basically it.

Max will do a great job, it was a coin toss between him and Myles. Hopefully Myles could return by October.

Medical lesson of the day.
Know what you call a broken bone where the patient wears a soft cast for a couple of weeks and then goes on like nothing happened?
A fracture.
Okay Doogie
Original rumors were ranging from broken arm to rotator cuff

Well he could conceivably keep conditioned and continue to throw. Maybe he recovers pretty quickly. I hate it for the guy. Good tough player who has had some bad luck

Yeah very tragic for Breenan.
I heard Ponamsky was running the 40 and tripped over his fatness and crashed into Brennan on the sideline who was watching and broke his arm and O went over and was clapping and cheering because Ponamsky actually made it 35 yards before he fumbled and bumbled out of control. Then O realized he took out Brenban and said that solves my QB Problem. Let go eat some gumbo!!!

This thread has gone wildly different than the devonta smith thread earlier. I wonder why that is...

Auburn will still find a way to lose that game. We hate winning in Baton Rouge.

So why couldn’t max beat out Brennan last year?
Posted on 8/2/21 at 7:52 pm to RadarTiger
I hate any injury, but Johnson is a better QB, and will be way better down the road.

Well that sucks and I mean it. Feel bad for that young man.

When do you think he had a chance?

Both Max and Finley were true freshmen, and Brennan had paid his dues and didn't have a big flaw in his game. He has an absolute gun for an arm, was going into his 4th year and knew the system and the expected WRs (Chase and Marshall).

Johnson is just a better QB. The kid made plays that a Freshman shouldn’t make. He’s going to latch on to that starting job. I don’t know wha happens in practice, but during games, Johnson is a hell of a QB

Your coach doesn’t play the best player?

Poor guy, last year's injury and now this.
Dang man. That’s rough. Could he petition for a medical year and get extra eligibility?

Reading that he can, but time will tell once the extent of his injury is released.
