The least of Bama's problems is the QB position.

The bigger problem is the CEO of the team. Until they get that fixed, they're a 9 win program essentially.

Probably looking for a team with running backs and an O Line. Dude almost got killed and still played really well all year.

Rumors of Ty Simpson hitting the portal

I heard that the portal was wide open, but Ty scrambled and slid down to avoid contact, short of the line to gain. Again, just a rumor.

As a Vol I can say I don’t see how he would be a good fit with our offense.

I still think he is a good QB

I like Ty. He’s a good quarterback. For some reason, though, he seems timid as a passer.
Reminds me of Nussmeier, really

Not this last season with no OL

Nuss has all the tools, and throws checkdown waaaaay too much.

I am not in the things all Ty’s fault corner like some of our fans like ystar but I am not willing to lose Russell and Mack. It may be best for all parties to move on. Look Ty had a bad OL. We have the worst group of RBs in the last 20 years and the WR while a good solid group are not what Bama has been used to. We need OL badly, we need a good veteran RBand we need a new OL coach immediately

Keelon Russell is a bona fide dual threat according to practice observers. Simpson has been impacted by the lack of a running game, and Crowell should help that, but a new start might be best for both parties.

If he stays they will lose Russell. He’s one of the best high school QBs I’ve seen play and will be better than Ty

Mack is a hack. Russell is the future at Bama and they are dumb if they let him walk

If Ty is smart he will separate himself from Grubb. Grubb cannot develop Ty like he needs.

I doubt he'll stay at Bama. He quit and was crying on the sideline over the whipping Indiana gave them.

Edit... no Bama fan here, and don't know, but I sense bad blood between him and staff, maybe some teammates. Regardless, probably best for all involved to part ways.

Ty going pro most likely but wouldn't shock me if he gets a big offer in the portal he transferred.

But would have to be a big time payday. Alabama wouldn't counter
