State an absurd claim, get called out, change the goalposts. Where have I seen this before??

at you being so upset you went through the trouble of looking all this up and posting it on Friday before 8am.

The poster I was responding to claimed that no one could match UGAs OOC schedule in the past 15 years. Tennessee arguably tops it, but at least matches it. I have submitted plenty of evidence in this thread. I don’t care enough to do any more, I’m not getting paid for this.

And they get Georgia Tech as a permanent rival.

Tech is undefeated this century against 4 SEC teams (what was 1/3 of the SEC) with a 10-0 record.

No one is claiming that tech is above average. But to imply that they are so different from tennessee, or auburn, or south carolina is laughable. 1/2 of the conference is below average.
Ive been more worried about tech than i have auburn the past 20 seasons if we are being honest.

I never said tennessee was bad in OOC scheduling.

But i will go on record and say it is worse than UGA (everything is worse than the best).

If you disagree, reply to my timelines and add Tennessee's P5 in your reply.

That is not worth my time

UT scheduled nationally before it was a thing. Good to see you’re finally starting to catch up. Have a great day

It doesn’t prove that UGA goes out if the southeast the most if it’s just raw UGA data with nothing to compare it to against other schools

Also scheduled home and home with Ohio State in the 2010's which they backed out of.

BTW do you actually think it's easier to play a game at Clemson as opposed to traveling to a Penn State or UCLA?

They are on par with tennessee this century.
They made it to 2 BCS bowl games.
I dont think tennessee has made any this century now that i think about it.

I agree. Tech is laughable. But they are still on par with over a third of the SEC (looking at you tennessee).

Be that as it may, VOLS have been a historical shitpot for 15 years yet Tech hasn’t beaten us since 1986, so forgive me for not quaking in my boots

All hat. No cattle.

Good talk. Keep laughing at GT.
I can smile and nod right back at tennessee fans.

Im guessing you played them once?
The joke is that i never said that Tech wasnt mediocre. I have said that they are on par with tennessee. UGA typically puts up 40+ points against both of them with our putrid QBs and outdated offenses.

Too bad you are too lazy to show me tennessee's big scary p5 ooc scheduling.
It doesnt look so big and scary side by side to UGA. Does it?

Dumb. But I guess it makes sense since OU is joining the conference.

It isnt arguable.
You wont pair your timeline against uga.
You refuse to make the side by side argument.

All of a sudden when challenged, it isnt worth your time.

It does though. I already did a 15 year comparison With ole porter before you hopped in and that stood up and then if you go back 5 more years for us you add @ND (twice) and @miami.

UT used to own their season wnd Rivals Vandy and Kentucky, not so much anymore.

UT gets embarrassed OOC and should stop, i have seen them lose to ucla, byu, Georgia state, struggles like hell against tech, get their doors blown off by Oregon, choke against Oklahoma. Hell they dang near lost to Western Kentucky.

UT by all accounts should shut the frick up.

Georgia plays Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Missouri and tennesse annually… while Kirby cheats and stacks a team.

Georgia also padded the stats by scheduling Samford and Kent state for 2022.

Probably the most pathetic bitch university in America.

You really didnt do a comparison, did you.

But you referenced 15 years.
During that span
Tennessee played WVU neutral, GT neutral (won by 1 point! We beat tennessee 41-0 and Tech 38-7 that same season. Lol), Virginia Tech neutral, and NC State neutral site.

Tennessee played at Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA, Cal, and ND.

At home, tennessee faced pitt, oklahoma, oregon, and cal.

So in 15 years, you have 5 away games?
4 neutral sites against GT type teams?
5 home games?

And that is arguably better than UGA playing at 5 teams (ND, Clemson, Colorado, Oklahoma State, and Arizona State), at GT (8 times), and neutral sites against Clemson and UNC? All of our away visits played us at home during that span.

In order to accomplish our OOC schedule, we played 3 P5 opponents in 2009. Tennessee went 2 seasons without any P5 opponents. In order to accomplish our OOC schedule, we doubled up on the road by playing against 2 P5 in opposing stadiums in 2017 and 2013.

It isnt arguable any longer unless you want to review a different 5 year span?

I didn’t say that Tech would beat OU or Oregon. I said they’d beat the other teams you played most years.

And listing teams as ranked when you played them is weak sauce. They were shitty, over ranked teams.

You haven’t even played at Pitt yet? Gtfoh. They lost their entire offense and is it really that big of a deal to be defending ACC champs? That’s a one team league and with Clemson down it’s a no team league.

Our OOC is tougher than anyone else. You play one P5 team a year while we play 2-3 most years.

Angry? Nah, just talking football. No need to deflect on your part.

Tech would almost certainly have had a winning record against UT since 2000 had they played every season.

Frick Tech and they are obviously complete shite now, but for awhile there that was a tricky game to deal with and certainly a bigger challenge than most SEC games UGA played.

Hell... tech lost by 1 at a neutral site. Imagine if Tennessee played them 8 times on the road.
