I really want to see his offense and how he runs it with top 25 talent

I want this to happen too because we play VOLS like once every 8 years and I still have night terrors of Leach vs Fran matchups

Leach is the type of guy who looks at what this fanbase did Sunday and thinks it was awesome.

I like Leach and I like him at Tennessee.

I was all for the UT fans who rebelled against bringing in Schiano. Power to the people. All the inferior sports reporters said that UT fans should just shut up and accept scum Schiano can go to hell. I didn't want Schiano in my conference and my opinion had nothing to do with PSU.

I admit that I enjoyed the UT dumpster fire while it lasted but it reflected badly on the division and conference.

I literally said earlier today that if they end up with a decent coach the whole depacle of Doren and Schiano will be forgetten.

Leach is pretty good and beloved. People will pretty quickly forget all the other nonsense.

There is no doubt about it Leach should be locked up in a mental ward But frick if I dont love the guy Pretty much the only person that will take this job. If he doesnt Tennessee might as well shut it down

The man has a J.D. degree. He's not crazy. He's just brilliant. What he understands here, that the other coaches running form the scene don't, is that he has all the negotiating power here. He doesn't give two shits about the Volmob. He'll quell that shite the first time he takes to the microphone, and they'll love him for it.

He’s a good coach no doubt. My only concern is that he might be a perfect fit for a place like Lubbock or Pullman. I worry his shtick won’t go over very well in a fish bowl like Knoxville. But given the fact that 12 hours ago we nearly hired Dave Doeren, I’m good with it.

What's crazy is that he apparently learned defense. IIRC, they had the #17 defense this season.

Thinking about Leach pwning Wes Rucker and Jimmy Hyams at weekly press conferences has me in a froth

Oh and damn you VOL coaching search I've gone from happy to suicidal to happy in the course of hours. I can't take another lie.

It really couldn't have worked out any better for him.

I remember when Butch was hired Leach came up and it was met with "He's fun but that'd basically be admitting we aren't elite anymore". If he'd been the first call I guarantee the reaction would have been similar.

But now? He's the GD Savior sent from heaven.

His DC likely stays and becomes coach.

Wes would secretly like it. Jimmy would be so befuddled he'd probably have a stroke.

His DC is a stud. Unfortunately for you guys he'll be the HC at Wazzu 5 minutes after Leach leaves.
