To get to your real point of concern, was nick now looking at Lsu as an auto win? nick didnt put the open week there because of Lsu. That open week would have been there regardless. He will move it regardless. Nothing to do with where Lsu falls on the schedule but rather what benefits Bama most for the post season.

I disagree with this. When LSU used to beat Bama and was a tough game for Saban, he saw that we were taking the week off before him and did the same thing. Coincidence, maybe? But I think if you asked him. he put it there for a competitive advantage when he needed it against us. Now, not so much...

Don’t think we should take a bi. Play another pushover and split the proceeds between this years 5* and next years 5* .

Now that’s logical

Yep.....my point

No, it's not.

You've moved the goalposts so many times since your original post you've forgotten why you started this thread.

And LSU will? I get LSU fans need to search for relevance in whatever manner they can find but this thread is ridiculous.

Of course not....
So are you saying nick wants the competitive advantage of the bye before the LSU game?

The OP has started some pretty whinny arse threads in his time but somehow an anonymous poster has broken him and he has an unusually large(even for him) amount of sand in his vagina.

Is my vagina large?
Or is it a large amount of sand?

No I’m not acting like I have any idea why he schedules his off week like he does. But what I don’t get is why what an anonymous poster has you upset enough to start this thread that is really irrelevant. Neither team has an advantage. Truthfully I’d rather bye weeks scheduled after every four games and teams should get two bye weeks during the season considering the purpose of them is to protect players Check my post history I’ve maintained that for years.

play Florida and Georgia more than once every 10 years
Bama has played UF 7 times (6-1, including the last 6) in the last 10 years. Bama did not have the privilege of playing UF in their only 2 losing seasons during that period: 2013 and 2017. Every year UF had a winning record, including their 2 best years - the great 13-1 seasons. Alabama played all 4 of their East winning teams in the SECC game.

Bama has played UGA 5 times in the past 11 years. They've won the last 4. All 5 times UGA was ranked in the AP Top 10 at game time or finished there, 4 times in the top 3. UGA won 10+ games all 5 times.

Is it possible....

I’m sure this is just a stupid idea.

But is it possible that nick wants a bye week before the LSU gam?

I know it’s probably foolishness....

But is there an outside chance that nick might want a bye week before the LSU game?

the LOGICAL MIDPOINT OF THE SEASON is to schedule their bye after the 8th game. Make sense?

No
The logical bye would be after the 6th game.

You get plenty time off after the regular season.

Especially when you’re given mulligans and don’t have to play in the SEC Championship Game
