Is this true?

Why has nick always scheduled a bye week before the LSU game?

Does nick feel it’s not necessary anymore?

Why would you have a bye week for a team you beat every year? LSU doesn’t seem to be very serious about competing with bama so I don’t blame them.

Well it’s the middle of the season and they usually sandwich the by in between tenn and LSU, so...

I have not heard this but me personally, I would rather have it afterwards. Always a physical game and I would like to have a week to heal afterwards. I once read an article on some study that said teams are not more likely to win after a bye week. In fact, the team that didn't take bye had a slight advantage in the stats.

It is the perfect week for a bye and it coming before you guys was just a bonus. I wouldn't mind it coming a week earlier though. We've been doing this for a long time.

Lsu is nothing to worry about until the current regime is replaced. Nick is smart and will most likely use the rest week for a game that truly challenges his team.

I’d put it around ole miss. Auburn is too late in the season.

This study was before that, but doesn't LSU take bye week the same week? I don't read too much into that stat because most teams take a bye week before a strong opponent if they can. So that would skew the stats because of strong competition.

Apparently LSU was nothing to worry about with the previous regime.

I agree. Post rematch miles was a shell of his former self. Lsu needs a proven offensive mind to make that game meaningful again.
