so we've gone from apathetic to delusional because we fill our home stadium in a down year...

I certainly won't deny we have a healthy bunch of delusional fans, but that's any big school that plays Football.

I'm kinda liking the idea of having Bama and LSU in Fayetteville, rotating with A&M and Mizzou in Fayetteville in alternating years.

I agree with this. Also a better party atmosphere to have the bigger conference games at home.

Bama, LSU, Auburn, then a rotation of Florida, UGA, Tennessee every once in a while...

I think ONE game could be in Jerry World and still learn how to make it a party. The thing about neutral site games in big cities... the entire city can party in expectation knowing it is an annual tradition.

So weird.

A&M has a much larger bar scene than Fayetteville. Been to both. A&M has a lot more variety.

while we are on stereotypes, maybe I should throw out the uneducated, meth slingin Arkansas hillbilly stereotype.

The fact is, A&M/CS isn't redneck and Arkansas/Fayetteville isn't hillbilly. Both are educated towns with mostly white suburbia or big city kids.

Calm down there buckwheat, no need to escalate and get all defensive over your stereotypes...we certainly all know what Aggies are like without your cosmopolitan paintbrush.

And since you're such an expert, where are the good country/western bars on Dickson Street??

There's a single Country bar in Fayetteville and its way out on MLK. Not that that matters.

Lol. I wouldn't send my kids to Fayetteville and expect them to return "educated".

I agree, 'cultured' is a better term here.

That's assuming your kid would get in. If not, let me suggest aTm as a good safety net school. They'll take anyone!

Arkansas acceptance rate: 60.4%
aTm acceptance rate: 71.7%

I wouldn't compare Arkansas academics to A&M's... don't make me bombard you with Academic rankings in which Arkansas will rank behind A&M (a long ways) in every one.

Porker Face is a "sock" or "alter"

Talks like a veteran, post count of a rookie.

Neutral games suck the atmosphere right out of the game.

Alabama's two Chick-fil-A Kickoff games have had the most amazing atmosphere I can recall away from Tuscaloosa. I can't wait for Alabama to open the season in Dallas versus Michigan.

That's really cute. With so few undergrads, not too many people even apply to your school, huh?

Aside from the terrible education, I really don't want my children to learn how to get chronically whipped by LSU and Mizzou all the time. Fayetteville = unacceptable.
