Ok Saban isnt the best DB coach in the game. Who cares my man? Alabama wins National Championships and gets all the best DB talent. And anyone who would take Cooper over Saban.......shoot yourself.

Bama fans hate answering direct questions when they know the answer will shed light in a negative way towards Bammer

Like I said earlier, keep your cute awards, and we will keep leading most statistical categories in pass defense.

Ight my turn, and answer as honestly as I did.

When has an 1st Team AA CB been punked out in is hometown after winning an award?

When has a award ever meant that you're the best around?

Something along the lines of Mark Ingram didn't deserve it. Yeah I think that's what I heard people say. I'll even go as far to say this, Andre Smith won the Outland, how did that work out for his future? Oh he was just named a starter this year? So much for that award for an individual in a team sport.

u super mad that the answer to my question was "never"?

Answer this, how many 1st team AA CBs have played a game in thier hometown after winning said award? I'll await the answer, because you simply can't answer it, and without a decent sample size your argument is meaningless.

PP7 would have been a top5 draft pick if he had went to Hofstra. Him developing Mo was impressive, but quite frankly Mo is a physical freak also that just needed the chance to play DB, which i credit to Cooper.

I'll give you a hint.....he's a DB coach

For LSU i guess?

Well in '89 Saban coached DBs for the Houston Oilers. He has had much more responsibility since then but, y'all keep Cooper and we'll keep Saban.

mathieu could very well make it three in a row with the thorpe award. thought I would throw that out there.

so cooper doesnt get any credit for peterson?

does saban get credit for barron, kirkpatrick, milliner? they were all highly touted recruits that would have dominated anywhere.

And I never do this so sorry to the LSU fans who aren't "tools" but

Never said that, but the dude is as talented as they come, I don't know if you can really credit Cooper to PP7's high draft selection.

Oh, what round did they go in the draft? What are we talking about here? You are judging Cooper's work based on individual player's accomplishments, and I am basing Saban's work on on-field, statistical achievement, AS A DB UNIT. The latter is more telling IMO.
