Davis was rolling with 30 fricking points and Cal had Wagner with the fricking ball in the end. Typical Cal.

I’d give him an A for for the first 35 minutes and an F for the last 5 and OT. Yet, that fricking jump ball call is ridiculous and surprised I haven’t read much about it, the refs sucked bottom line and let tech back in the game. Oh well, hogs are do to win a title in baseball after this blown game

Massive underachieving with all that talent.

I wouldn't say massive, but losing a 16 point lead is brutal, but it's one of his things. Saw it many times. You all did have a lot of talent.

I didn't watch the game, did big Z have any impact? I didn't see him in at all in the highlights I watched.

I agree. The refs was very one sided the entire game. It wasn’t a big deal until it got close. It’s a shame you can’t get a fair whistle. That said, At no point did I feel Arky was going to lose until the kid sent it to OT.

He had a couple of boards and a block, but that's it. He's got to get much stronger over the off-season because he's borderline unplayable against big men with any sort of low post game right now. He also couldn't make a 3 to save his life over the last month of the season, doesn't have the strength to bang down low, and doesn't have the handles to pump fake and put the ball on the floor when his 3 isn't going down...so not a great combination of factors.

He's got sky-high potential, but we'll see if he can put it together.

I take no joy in them losing that game. I went to bed thinking they had it. Tech couldn’t guard the drives and Arkansas was dominating them. I was shocked to hear the final.

Remember another pretty good coach in 1998 that lost a similar lead and UK beat Duke. I don’t think anyone would call Coach K a bad coach.

I've not given up on him yet, but if he can't past the point where him playing is continent on the match-up then I wouldn't mind replacing him with someone that can play every day.

I turned the game off early thinking it was in the bag they were playing so well in the first half. I didn't turn it back on until I got a notification they were in overtime so I have no idea what happened in the second half.

Considering the start of the season for Arkansas and how they were playing at the end I think people should feel pretty good about the turn around. Its the NCAA... shite happens in a one game scenario.

Most of all, believing in DJ Wagner to do anything other than completely suck when it matters. Good grief. I wasn't even rooting against Arkansas (not at all, in fact) but when I saw he was getting to make the final regulation and OT plays I knew it was over for them.

Z has a ton of potential but he needs to be played at the four not five position. Let him face the basket on offense and be a secondary defender on defense. He isn’t a banger like his brother and even he spent more time facing the basket against us.

Cal was going to ride with DJ and it has cost him dearly this year and last in the tournament.

He definitely had a handful of games where he flashed that sort of ability. He combined for over 50 points between the Bama and LSU games back to back and I thought the light had come on. He was taking some mid-range shots, finding a way to get to the basket, etc.

A lot of it probably had to do with the fact that his 3 point shot stopped falling, so teams really didn't have to respect it like they did early in the season. Over his last 11 games, he was 6/34 from 3 and was 2/16 since March 1st. No bueno.

I agree, but we have literally no 5 other than Aidoo. Z needs to hit the weights hard.

Far superior would be a final four.

Talking shite before your own team plays is always a great move.

For as much trash as Hog fans have talked for the better part of a year, UK and Pope is now guaranteed to have had a better season overall regardless of tonight’s game, than Arkansas/Cal.

A little dirt being kicked in the wound is to be expected.

Kind of like having Devin Booker sitting on the bench against Wisconsin. He has a history with the Wagner family and that caused him to have two top ten draft choices backing him up instead of starting last year.

Of course had Wagner hit the shots Cal is a genius.
