re: Chips are down: Will your team start the season 5-0?

Obviously. Calzada's gonna be lighting those hedges up worse than herpes for our 5th straight. Then another bye - like we even needed it - before 7 more wins.
Hey you start giving out those Belk discounts too freely and it becomes a very dangerous thing

It might be different now but my wife and I went on the Evan Williams tour in Louisville probably 10 years ago and the historical reenactment video they played at the beginning was so over-the-top in its adulation that we still make up fake quotes from it to say to each other like "no one in this town would have half a dick if it weren't for Evan Williams!"

Most of all, believing in DJ Wagner to do anything other than completely suck when it matters. Good grief. I wasn't even rooting against Arkansas (not at all, in fact) but when I saw he was getting to make the final regulation and OT plays I knew it was over for them.

I guess the refs figure Cal will just scream a bunch but Pitino might ACTUALLY have them killed, so, obvious choice.
I don't know how Ejiofor doesn't have 4 fouls by now. If they were calling it the same way both ends, he would.
Definitely has the rage problem to fill those shoes. Might as well go to a place where that's celebrated.
It looked more like Williams was taunting in the video I saw. But Garrison was certainly the problem on the court. He has acted like an idiot a few times this season and last night was the worst. Pope and the staff need to have a serious talk with him. While he arguably won us the game at the end he also almost gave it right back.

Arguably too recent to be "forgotten" but I think it might surprise some fans that Benny Snell and Chris Rodriguez are both in the SEC career rushing top 20. So is Sonny Collins but he was already mentioned.

1) When the economy is struggling this badly, independents flock to the polls to vote against the incumbent.
2) Harris completely sucks.
3) Since 2020, some people realized Trump was actually a damn good president.
4) Like others mentioned, they didn't get away with the same cheating this time.

I wasn't posting here but I'll admit I was afraid they'd pull the same shite if it was close enough to get away with.
Instead I had a dangerously increasing boner from about 9 PM EST through 1 AM when it reached peak. Hasn't subsided. I guess that makes me sound more like a blue pilled crow eater.

My wife, son and I all stayed up for it. Absolutely worth it. A rare victory for America and (whether the bitches appreciate it or not) the entire world, really.
I know that on a pragmatic level you're absolutely right but the idea of sacrificing the innocent unborn to people apparently thrilled by the idea of murdering them just so we can win OTHER political battles is just something I have trouble getting over. How did the world get so sick that protecting babies is a losing argument?
I mean, actually I know the answer and it's that women have had a massively negative/insane net influence on political discourse in this country.

When Trump first won in 2016 I had one of my students email me saying he didn't know how to continue with his life / career goals in light of the election results. Although I worded it a bit more nicely than this I basically responded "just live your life, wtf does the president have to do with it?"

Well, the thread is pretty idiotic and deserved to be mocked. This is like Serraneaux shite.

If it had all been one real and utterly Florida dude I was honestly amused and supportive of the ridiculous crusade. But with it being a copycat, assuming the posts above are true? Just very weird and disappointing. Though not surprising since this is the Internet. Damn.

I thought they were basically going to give him a contract and then A&M boosters rioted behind the scenes so they backed out. Stoops wanted the job.
Well, we've also had a few select years with an excellent offense but no defense (like with Couch, Lorenzen and Woodson).
But during the Stoops era / while A&M has been in the league (same thing) yeah the offense has been limited. Especially the passing game. Stoops plays scared ball at times and it's a source of great frustration. I appreciate what he's done for a historically bad program (2021 vacation aside - that hurts his legacy and ours as a program) but he has his own clear limitations as a coach.

Stoops would've been thrilled to take the A&M job because of how much he hates dealing with NIL (I don't blame him - the whole thing is killing college football)...so being at a place where the money is easier to come by without spending all your time begging for it...I'm sure that sounded quite appealing to him.
I'm a huge UK fan but also a realist. It's going to be tough for us to stay competitive (and by that I mean in the mid-tier pest way we've been, not SEC title competitive). It will take lots of energy and dedication from the coaches to keep it going and I'm not sure how much longer Stoops wants to deal with it in Lexington. The NCAA bullshite about the fake jobs (as if that crap doesn't happen everywhere) didn't help.
