I’m not sure what exactly got my mind on him. I think it’s a combination of LSU fan zombies posting about goat Burrow and Daniel oddly bringing up Jamarcus Russell

Anyways, as an old piss fan that loved kicking you in the teeth in the late 90s, I gotta tip my hat to Rohan.

Did he even know an entire fictional horse lord kingdom would be named after him within a year or two? Doubtful, but it fricking happened

This was a fat motherfricker that would have been on the defensive line of any other team ever, and Saban turns him into this semi god or something. He seemed so damn good at the time.

Thoughts?

But in any case, Rohan is a beloved legend in BR to this day. Just ask Raul.

Jimbo fisher in his 2nd season as OC and having josh reed wide open every play was more of a factor to his success than saban was. That and Rohan was one of the toughest SOBs I've ever watched play. Dude got hit alot and just always got up

Exactly. Dude was a bad motherfricker like I had not seen anywhere else at the time. It was like eating nails watching him play.

He was the greatest leader in football I had ever seen. LSU was night and day when he was on the field.

Says a fan of the only team that ever had a QB that made Jared Lorenzen look slim.

I was sitting in Bryant Denny in 2001 when Rohan Davey threw for about 926 yards and totally embarrassed the Bama defense. That was a rough day and an elderly Bama fan sitting next to me said it was the worst defensive performance he’d ever seen with mist in his eyes.

Josh Reed had 87 catches that day

It was payback for Shaun Alexander rushing for 8,994 yards in 96 or whenever

Rohan was apparently the worst practice player of all time. Two different staffs kept him as a backup (to talented qbs nonetheless, in 1999 LSU had 3 future NFL qbs on the roster). But when the Saturday Night lights came on, Rohan was a beast.

If it was third and long; I would take Burrow and if he wasn’t available; I’d take Rohan.

Burrow finally beat his records at LSU, so that tells you how well he did. We wouldn’t be here today without him imo...he helped get us over that hump of the 80-90’s.
