The only reason LSU was in that ridiculous state last night is that LSU's football program has been broken. They have watched over half their team, with many being starters, simply tell the other half, I don't want to play, I don't want to compete.
No COVID to blame, these were healthy scratches for the most part. Some said they would rather get ready for the draft, others just didn't care, and still others, like Cade York, just would rather stand on the sidelines and watch the massacre. And that is exactly what this quitter watched.
Yes, fans, this is what a once-proud SEC program looks like when it hits rock bottom in player pride and when they just don't have the "chest" to compete for one another.

Well that isn't true.

You keep saying this and he's still injured.
Why are you desperate to push a false narrative?

I think it has more to do with the current state of cfb, not LSU.

Doesn't make it right. They didn't have to stop competing. Refusing to play for one another as brothers is about as bad as it gets in this game. Shame on LSU.

The good thing is the rock bottom for us is now 6-7. It used to be 3-8 ish.
The rebuild has already started

To be fair, a good portion of the team quit school and didn't actually attend class the past semester. Those assholes are the real shite bags.
I am proud of LSU for showing up. That's a win in my book.
The only problem is now a shite-stain clingers-on BigTwatever program like KState gets to strut around like they actually did something, feeding the continued bullshite narrative that the SEC is losing ground on the rest of the NCAA.

The players are at the schools to get to the NFL 1st. Playing for your favorite school is 2nd or 3rd.
That changed about 15 years ago and it is going to get worse and fast.

It really sucks we kept the coach responsible for the state of the program.
Oh wait…..

Your team is playing for the championship in a few days and you're worried about LSU in the Texas Bowl?
What was the point of your post?
We have all readily admitted that Orgeron left the program in shambles.

They certainly don't get a pass. They deserve to be recognized for the COWARDS they are. Instead of deflecting to the TAMU situation, as if one was somehow connected to the other, how about holding these "quitters" accountable for that crap show last night?

One of those COWARDS is on Alabama's roster.
But I'm sure that was different.

You haven't demonstrated one ounce of indignation for these quitters through this bowl season, nor have you been honest about the sheer volume of guys who didn't want to compete.
Your fan base has been far too busy trying to somehow compare how noble LSU is in the face of adversity in comparison to TAMU. Well, hell, gang, who created the adversity here? It certainly wasn't COVID and it had zero to do with TAMU quitting on their bowl team.
LSU quit on LSU. And that may be about as bad as it gets in this business. And no amount of lipstick on that pig is going to make her pass the eye test.

This is young LSU fans they have no idea what rock bottom is for LSU. I remember in the early
90s when a 6-5 season was a success. Being bowl eligible meant something.

You are way too invested in this.
