Those roads have been nicer on the Mississippi side since pavement was invented.

Your rage? Or your passion for roads?

We get it... Bama sucks at everything. Even the shitty roads in Alabama are Bear Bryant's and Nick Saban's fault. Hopefully one day we can be as good of a state as Mississippi which is surprisingly ranked last at everything.

True. Headed to the beach tomorrow and the worst part of the trip is 45 to 158. I mean, how hard is it to four lane that stretch?

It must be contagious because 98 does the same thing. 4 lanes of 80 mph awesomeness then the second you Alabama 2 lane with a fricking pulp wood truck in front of you

They're probably as bad as they are because of all you Mississippans coming to Alabama to see what a real football stadium and football team looks like.

Those tractors are not designed foe highway travel.

I realize the gub-o-ment gives the state money to maintain the interstate with that state's borders.

Our road system in Mississippi is light years ahead of Alabama except for city streets in Jackson

No, it's really not. I'm a Misssissippi native. Mississippi has absolutely no room to criticize any other state on this issue.

And the "city streets" around Jackson? Have you been on the Stack lately? Or at any time since the interstate system started running through Mississippi?

Alabama does have terrible roads all around. I used to get a kick out of traveling country back roads in between Alabama and Georgia because you don't need a sign to know when you crossed the state line. You don't even need to look.

There's your problem. The only people that use those roads are trying to get the hell out of Mississippi.

Take your casino money and build some statues of Jackie Sherril or Merlins. Only one would fit on your tiny little campus though. Our roads are fine, if you don't like them drive around my beautiful state.

I-20 in Mississippi was designed by some roller coaster manufacturer.

This was one if the biggest things that struck me on my last trip there.

The Campus is beautiful but the roads, even going through BHam are memorably bad.
