Perhaps the most overrated football player of
all time.

He’s a dude whose entire reputation was built on what was dubbed as “the highest ranked recruit of all time” coming out of high school. Every award he ever won & every list he ever made was based on that lofty high school ranking and “potential.”

He averaged 30 tackles and 2 sacks per year, finished his college career with 0.5 sacks more than Nick Gentry, and had less than 50 tackles in the NFL before being sent to Canada.

Dude fricking sucked.

does anyone actually think Vince Young was better than Tebow or Cam?

Yes. But Vince Young is my favorite player of all time. Even watching him in high school was special. So I'm very biased.

He was a 5 star and should be on the list.

In 2013, Rivals had him listed as a 4 star for some reason

Henry grew up a UF fan, Muschamp only recruited him to be a defensive player. Oh well.

Myles will have the most productive pro career out of anyone on that list once it's all said and done. He's a Top 3 DE - All Time

Bryce Young over Eric Berry is an absolute travesty.

Why the hell are Vice Young and AP on here..they were freaking Big 12. Don't change history if it does not need to be..and they are not SEC players They are Big 12 players.

Yes. According to 247, which was the most often noted recruiting site at the time, Henry was the #12 player in the nation.

This is an article by Rivals. Listing the players that Rivals had graded as 5 Stars at the time. When Derrick Henry was recruited, for whatever reason, RIVALS had him listed as a 4 Star and at 36th Nationally.

He was good but not best 25 5 start since 2000. He took up a lot double teams and was extremely disruptive in big games when he wanted to be.

Rivals was determined to make themselves obsolete.
