s wild how many of Oklahoma's players/recruits are only their for Riley. None of em got loyalty.

For top recruits it's all a business now. All they care about is who can get them into the NFL, and with the money involved you can't blame them.

He's obviously known he was going to USC for quite some time.

Now do Brian Kelly.

It’s the way it goes. What is the alternative?

Next, you'll be saying Bama should be able to sue any school that gets a recruit they spent money on chasing. It's not that serious, just give the charger to the next guy in line.

OU will be fine and should get a good coach to take his place. But from what I've read So. Cal has more than just roster issues. Riley's got his work cut out for him over there.

IMO, So. Cal should have gone after Brian Kelly (program rebuild) and Riley (besides OU) would have fit really well at Florida.

You obviously have never been to LA or Oklahoma if you’re acting this surprised kids would choose USC over OU. Cannot even compare the two. Norman sucks.

Riley is early Kiffin at this point. Bright, young (ish) football guy who was given the keys to a Ferrari program (and hadn't really done anything to deserve the job other than being Bob Stoops' boy) and took a shite on them on the way out to USC.

USC will realize that even Riley can't resurrect that dead program and leave him on a tarmac out west in 4 years.

One thing about the whole thing that is really odd to me is how LR is basically moving the OU program to USC. I've seen several things posted around the entire internet that points to there being some deep locker room divisions and lots of infighting going on there under LR.

How true any of that is, obviously I don't know because I'm not there. I would think that Riley would want a clean slate and a new start. So it just strikes me as odd that he's bringing so many coaches and players with him.

Honestly I can’t blame you. There’s leaving, then there’s dousing the place in gasoline and tossing a lit match on it on the way out.

LR is low class.

This is a product of the system. Either do away with early signing period or move it to summer. Probably best to do away with early signing period. I don’t blame either coach for leaving for what they see as a better opportunity, nor can you blame hiring teams because they have to worry about their own signing class.

Of shite..OU should sue him for every penny of this years salary and for damages. He's obviously known he was going to USC for quite some time. His recruiting tactics are among the worst I've ever seen. It costs a fortune to recruit players and Lincoln Riley should be held financially responsible for the cost of every decommitted recruit. This has cost them an entire recruiting class, a stacked recruiting class at that. Let me be clear I'm not an OU fan but holy hell.

I completely disagree. No, you replace Riley with a stud coach who can recruit. If you don't replace Riley with a suitable coach that's your arse.

I don't think many fans realize how precarious of a situation LR left them in. They need a coach to come in and circle the wagons (lol) or this could effect them for decades to come. They very easily could become Tenner west.

Oklahoma took half our team last year. I don't feel sorry for them one bit.

I never feel sorry for Oklahoma. I never feel sorry for Texas or LSU either.

As much as I would love seeing OK fall flat on their face it seems a bit unsporting. LR basically kicked them in the balls right before they went into the fight of their life.

He did them a favor. He was never going to be successful in the SEC. Heart wasn’t in it. And I’m sure he sees those kids as his more than Oklahoma’s. Kids don’t commit to a school as much as a coach.

well basically they weren't really interested in OU just the coach...so naturally if he decides to go to USC they will follow. It is a f'ed up situation though
