Yea and USC claims to be '03 champs. Who cares. This is a lot coming from a USC fan honestly.

Why are we still talking about this? It’s over.

Insert whatever reason you want but it will change absolutely nothing.

So you are saying the conf. That has won the last 17 of 25 chapionships should not have a seat at the table to make it fair? The SEC regular season aint fair. 6 different teams have won a national championship in the last 25 years and its harder to get through unbeaten than other conferences

Schedules aren't equal in college football. This isn't the NFL. FSU's schedule was weak and they looked weak in most of those games.
FSU’s win over Florida with Rodemaker was more convincing than Alabama’s win over Auburn with Milroe. Alabama had a weak performance against USF around same time FSU looked weak against BC.

Akabama’s opponents had a combined 86-66 record. That’s an average opponent just below 7-5. FSU’s opponents went 79-73 combined. That’s an average opponent just above 6-6. If FSU & Alabama had the same record it would be a difference maker.

The committee could have said Alabama’s record against their schedule was better than FSU’s record against theirs. They didn’t. Because it’s a weak argument. Which is why they pointed to Jordan’s absence, and pretended they could predict how FSU would perform with a healthy Rodemaker.

Like Most PAC 12 fans you are clueless on CFB.

Using the old BCS/Polls/Computers Bama would have been 3rd, FSU 4th and Texas 5th. So, why did Texas get in? The Committee, something you people from BAD CONFERENCES insisted on because the Computers understood who were the best teams, because they used criteria not subject to "FEELINGS".

The Head 2 Head seemed controlled the Committees outlook way too much. All the DATA POINT SETS have to be used not just Head 2 Head. Bama had a better SOS than both FSU & Texas, Bama had a better SOR than Texas, Bama had more top 25 wins than Texas and FSU. Bama had a 3-1 record vs. top 15 compared to Texas'1-1 record. Bama's loss was better, to a top 5 team vs. Texas loss to OU. Bama of course plays in a much tougher conference.

So, Bama had multiple DATA SET POINTS they win, FSU has one SOR, Texas has one Head 2 Head. Now, Bama should be 3 over both teams, so in essence, Texas got in because FSU had am injury. They moved Bama to 4 because of Head 2 Head which is stupid.

Bamas opponents record was 98-61 and FSU's opponents was 67-76 before the ACC title game so add in 10-3 thats 77 and 79, so your facts are not correct. LOL

Wait, you left out undefeated Liberty too. At least be intellectually honest

If strength of schedule does not matter….why are you not defending Liberty? They won all their games.

SOS - FLA ST 55. Alabama 5.

A lot of teams could be undefeated with that schedule.

FSU beat 8 bowl eligible teams.

Alabama beat 7 bowl eligible teams and lost to one.

13-0 trumps anything that Bama brings to the table.

It is truly a shame that the fix was in.
